The opportunity starts
with the work you do.

Open the right doors.
Identify suitable restaurants and local venues. Start a conversation about the board, the guest experience and the responsibilities of hosting.
Bring advertisers together.
Prospect, explain the annual offer and follow through with local businesses. Build a six-advertiser sponsorship arrangement with categories approved by Main & Signal.
Keep relationships moving.
Coordinate local communication, check in with advertisers and discuss renewal when an annual term approaches its end. This role calls for active business development and ongoing relationship management.

Start a relationship.
Give it room to grow.

A new board brings a host and six advertisers into a local network. Advertiser renewals could extend those relationships into later years, while new locations create further business-development opportunities.

Over time, those conversations could also lead to complementary digital services. Websites, reputation management and customer communications are future possibilities; delivery and commercial terms still need to be established.

Renewals depend on each advertiser’s choice. Future services and partner compensation are developing proposals, with no earnings or recurring-income guarantee.

Already connected locally?
Put that knowledge to work.

Locally connected sales professionals, business-development specialists, entrepreneurial Realtors and relationship-oriented individuals may find the model a natural fit. Bring initiative, an understanding of your market and the willingness to turn introductions into business conversations.

Local initiative.
A common brand and product.

The intended framework combines local business development with centrally coordinated board design, production, installation and sponsor operations. A consistent product gives each local conversation a clear starting point.

Hypothetical, adjustable retention inputs—not established Main & Signal operating results: 70% annual advertiser renewal · 80% annual digital retention. Host bonuses excluded unless you choose qualifying new hosts.

How to read this illustration

Each fully sponsored board has six $600 annual advertiser contracts. One $400 commission-base allowance is deducted before the proposed 50% initial commission. That allowance is not a payment required from a partner or a statement of actual company costs. A $100 host bonus is separate and requires a newly activated, qualifying host originated by the partner. Proposed annual renewal commission is 30% of retained sponsorship revenue, beginning 12 months after each board activation. Renewals retain the selected percentage at each anniversary and do not earn another initial commission or host bonus.

Proposed eligible recurring digital-service commission is 20% of your assumed monthly package value. Digital services and their commercial terms are developing possibilities, not a promise that a package or commission is available. Conversion starts at a hypothetical 20%; choose 0%, 10% or 20% to compare scenarios. If you choose a conversion rate, the model assumes one distinct business per sponsor position, one conversion opportunity and immediate activation/billing with no delay. Multiple-board purchases or setup delays can reduce or postpone results. Customer attrition follows the hypothetical annual retention rate, applied monthly. Digital relationships are modeled independently of later board renewals. These are simplifying illustration assumptions, not established operating results.

The proposed first-year scenario requires one qualifying board-equivalent credit before residuals begin. This simplified interface assumes full attribution, so one full board supplies one credit. Starting at the first anniversary (Month 13), four qualifying boards in the rolling 12 months are required. The current activation month is included; eligibility is modeled from that month, with no retroactive recovery. Alternative first-year assumptions are comparisons, not adopted terms. There is no additional quarterly grace period. Requalification restores eligibility for future periods only; missed residuals are not recovered. This interface assumes full partner attribution and steady monthly production. Only fully funded qualifying activations count; prospecting time and installation lead time are outside the model. No selected production level is presented as achievable or typical.

Amounts are computed in cents and rounded to whole dollars for display. Small displayed differences can result from rounding. These are gross earned commissions, not payment dates, take-home income or profit. Your expenses and taxes are not deducted. Month 36 digital run rate is a separate conditional snapshot, not an extra amount earned during the three years. Actual participation, eligibility, compensation and payment timing require separately agreed written terms.

Changing an assumption changes only this illustration. Production, host acquisition, renewals, digital conversions and retention are uncertain. No compensation, income, available territory or future service is guaranteed. Calculator inputs stay in this browser session and are not submitted with an inquiry.

What experience is relevant?

Local sales, business development and relationship management are relevant. You might be a sales professional, entrepreneurial Realtor or another locally connected individual who enjoys starting and advancing business conversations. Formal eligibility and selection requirements still need to be established.

What would I actually do?

Identify suitable hosts, recruit local advertisers and coordinate ongoing relationships. A fully sponsored board requires six paid advertiser agreements. This is active prospecting, sales follow-through and relationship work; the exact division of responsibilities will be defined in the partner agreement.

How would partner compensation work?

The working model includes new-board commissions, annual renewal commissions and potential digital-service residuals. It also contemplates ongoing production requirements for continued eligibility. This model is not finalized or an offer of compensation. Rates, qualifying business, production requirements, payment timing, costs and conditions require compensation approval, applicable legal/disclosure review and separate written terms.

What could advertiser renewals add?

An advertiser who chooses to renew could continue an established local relationship and create another sales opportunity. Renewals require follow-through and an advertiser’s decision; they are not automatic. Renewal commissions are part of the working model, with eligibility and terms still to be approved. No recurring income is promised.

How do future digital services fit?

A board relationship could open a later conversation about a business website, reputation management or customer communications. Complementary services and any associated residual compensation are future opportunities. The services, delivery capacity, partner responsibilities and compensation must be separately established before they are offered.

Is a territory available in my area?

Our initial launch focuses on Yamhill County, Oregon; additional markets are a future growth channel. Tell us your city or region so we can discuss potential fit. Market availability and any territory rights require separate confirmation. Expressing interest does not reserve a market or confer exclusivity.

What training and support are available?

The Main & Signal brand, board artwork and annual sponsor offer are established. Partner onboarding, training, support, fulfillment processes and technology arrangements are still being developed. Their scope must be confirmed before a partner program or market is activated.

What happens after I express interest?

Share your market, relevant experience and local connections. We can discuss the concept, the work involved and the arrangements that would need to be established. Expressing interest does not commit you to the program or establish employment, acceptance or territory rights.
